Dr. Sax will lead six workshops for parents over two days, Friday and Saturday April 26 and 27, all hosted by St James the Less Parish in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
Friday evening, beginning at 7 PM: Evidence-Based Parenting: what you need to know to improve the odds for your son or daughter
Saturday:
- 9:30 AM: Cancel the Playdate, Make a Family Date Instead: evidence-based best practices for parents of children 3 to 7 years of age
- 11:00 AM: Boys Adrift: the five factors driving the growing epidemic of unmotivated boys and underachieving young men, and what you can do to help your son
- 1:30 PM: Girls on the Edge: the four factors driving the rise in anxiety and depression among American girls, and what you can do to help your daughter
- 3:45 PM: Beyond Resilience: why are so many young people now so fragile?
- 7:00 PM: Why Gender Matters: what parents need to know about the emerging science of male/female differences
There will be no overlap among these presentations. You don’t have to attend any one presentation in order to attend any of the other presentations; each presentation can stand alone.
